CAN027534_18 September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Texas Children's Cancer Center ® is cheering on the brave boys and girls working to take down their very own supervillain – pediatric cancer. Each year, Texas Children's Cancer Center diagnoses over 500 children with cancer. As the largest pediatric cancer center in the United States, we have an elite force of more than 1,000 superhero physicians, researchers, nurses and support staff dedicated to protecting children, creating new weapons and pushing forward in the battle against pediatric cancer. This month – and all year round – we stand with the tough, strong and determined young superheroes we are proud to call our patients. texaschildrens.org/cancer Not all superheroes wear capes.
