Education of students and faculty on human subjects regulation and institutional policies and systems is a significant aspect of this role. Strong communication skills are required, and experience in human subjects research administration is strongly preferred. Certified IRB Professional (CIP) perferred. Non-certified candidates will be considered, however must be willing to sit for CIP certification when qualified as part of the job fulfillment. Sponsored Research Congruence Coordinator (#S003576) This coordinator will ensure university compliance by 1) confirming the congruency of funded research awards to oversight committee approvals, and 2) coordinating the UH Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) program, which ensures that research teams fulfill sponsor-mandated RCR training requirements. Communication with and education of research faculty, as well as coordination with mul- tiple university components, is a significant aspect of this role.
