Designed by WHR and CO Architects, the Houston Methodist Institute for Technology,
Innovation and Education (MITIE) was created to improve patient care through
multidisciplinary collaboration among medical professionals, research scientists
and the medical device industry. In this advanced-technology environment,
NASA used state of the art CT-imaging to scan and correct, a water leakage
problem in an Extravehicular Activity (EVA) spacesuit. For thirty years,
no one has pioneered design innovation in the TMC more than WHR.
